Note: There is no application fee for the graduate program of the Department of Biological Sciences.
A $40 processing fee is in effect for international applications.

Department
of Biological Sciences Application Requirements:
1. The application form completed in full. Application
2. Official transcripts
in English of all undergraduate and any
graduate studies completed. Ask the registrar(s)
of your undergraduate and graduate colleges
or universities to send the transcript to
the above address.
3. Three letters of recommendation
sent by your listed references to the above
address. Please use the downloadable recommendation form.
4. Original GRE scores sent to the above address. General test AND Subject Test (in either Biology or Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology) are REQUIRED for Admission .
5. There is no application fee for degree seeking applicants. Non-degree seeking application fee is $10. FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ONLY - application processing fee of $40 must be included. All appropriate fees must accompany the application form and cannot be refunded. Check should be made payable to Duquesne University.
6. FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
ONLY. Original TOEFL scores and Duquesne
University Affidavit of Support Form completed
in full and submitted together with required
officially-certified statements of financial
resources available from you to support
your education at Duquesne University. (See
estimates of costs for academic year available
from the Office of International Affairs.)

forms of financial resource certifications.
No uncertified photocopies can be accepted.
The Test of Spoken English (TSE) is required
for all international students seeking assistantship
positions. Note International deadlines
below.
Application
Deadlines:
Applications are processed
and reviewed on a rolling basis. The target
deadlines are February 15 for Fall admission
and October 1 for Spring admission. Applications
will be accepted up to one month before
classes begin.
Applications which
are missing any of the above items will
NOT be processed.
