The 2009 China Experience
  — Pan Xiao Ling, "Mother and Child"

The China experience enabled students to observe, discuss, and analyze China's history and approach as it pertains to air, land, and water pollution. The course provided students the opportunity to learn first-hand, along with their Chinese peers, in both laboratory and field sites.

Duquesne's invitation and host while visiting China was the China Association of Science and Technology (C.A.S.T.). The Chinese Delegation consisted of both undergraduate and graduate students from their departments of science and environmental management.
