Duquesne's
School of Law and the Bayer School of Natural
and Environmental Sciences cooperate in a joint
program that enables a student to earn both the
Juris Doctor and Master of Science degrees in
just four years.
Candidates for
this program apply to each school independently
and, upon admission, are expected to consult with
the Program Director in each school to plan their
respective programs.
Candidates may
begin their cooperative program either in the
Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences
or in the School of Law. In either case, the first
year of study in the School of Law is taken solely
in the School of Law. The remainder of the program
may be taken jointly in the School of Law and
the Bayer School of Natural and Environmental
Sciences.
The specific course
requirements and limitations for the program may
be obtained by contacting The Law School's Admissions
Office.
