Kevin Garber

Kevin Garber, Ph.D., J.D., is a shareholder in the Environmental Health and Safety Services Group and the Intellectual Property Services Group of Babst, Calland, Clements and Zomnir, P.C. He practices out of the Firm's Pittsburgh and State College offices, and has concentrated much of his practice in the areas of water pollution law, contaminated sites remediation and reuse, and natural resources law.

Kevin is also an adjunct professor of law at the Duquesne University School of Law an adjunct professor in the Bayer School of Natural Science at Duquesne University, where he teaches a course on environmental law and policy in the graduate school. He serves on the Advisory Committee to the Duquesne University Center for Environmental Research and Education. Kevin is a member of the board of directors of the Allegheny Land Trust and of the Pittsburgh Youth Pops Orchestra. He also serves on an advisory committee to the Three Rivers Wet Weather Demonstration Program.

Kevin graduated with Distinction from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Biology/Chemistry; he earned his M.S. in Oceanography and Limnology from the University of Wisconsin, his Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of Pittsburgh and his law degree from the Duquesne University School of Law, where he was a member of the Duquesne University Law Review. His graduate and doctoral work addressed the quantification of point and non-point pollutant loadings to lakes and the development of remedial alternatives.
