Bruce M. Herschlag

Bruce M. Herschlag, the Assistant Regional Counsel with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Environmental Protection, is an attorney who has practiced law since 1981. Mr. Herschlag primarily counsels the Department's Water Management division, but also provides legal advice in the mining, solid waste and bankruptcy areas of the law. He is a member of the Bar in the States of Maryland and North Carolina and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as well as a member of the American Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association. He has lectured for the American Bar Association, the Environmental Law Institute, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Allegheny County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Minor Judiciary and the Office of Chief Counsel on a wide variety of environmental subjects and on trial skills and tactics.

Mr. Herschlag holds a J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a B.A. from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
