Robert J. Oltmanns

Robert J. Oltmanns is the president of Skutski & Oltmanns, Inc., a leading public relations and marketing communications firm in Pittsburgh. Throughout his career, Mr. Oltmanns has been a public relations counselor to major corporations, professional organizations, industry associations, and nonprofit organizations across the United States, for which his firm has won numerous awards. In particular, he has developed environmental public relations programs for a number of clients in the chemical, forest products, construction materials, steel, and other manufacturing industries. He began his career in public information with the U.S. Department of Energy's Pittsburgh Energy Technology Center, and later served as a public information consultant with Science Applications International Corporation. He holds his B.S. from Montclair State College in New Jersey and a Master of Energy Resources from the University of Pittsburgh 's Graduate School of Engineering. Mr. Oltmanns is a member of the College of Fellows of the Public Relations Society of America and is an accredited member of the PRSA Counselor's Academy. He is also the past president of the Pittsburgh Chapter of PRSA and past president of IPREX, an international corporation of independent public relations firms.
