Preparing for Your Career

There are many ways to give yourself an advantage while job hunting and the time to start exploring is now. Undergraduate research and internships give students a chance to see if research or industrial work is right for them, as well as adding to a resume.

• The Career Services Center - helps students and alumni apply their academic and life experiences to achieve career fulfillment; provides them with the services and resources necessary to make better informed career decisions; and develops the skills necessary to implement their career plans.
• Undergraduate Research at Duquesne - Learn about the possibilities to do research with a faculty member here at Duquesne.
• Volunteering or Outreach Programs - These programs are an excellent way to investigate alternative science careers and contribute to the community.
