Requirements for Binary Engineering Students

In addition to those courses needed to fulfill the University and Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Science Core requirements, each Binary Engineering student is required to complete the following: Physics 211, 212, 213, 350, and 471; Chemistry 121 and 122; Mathematics 115, 116, 215, and 315; and Computer Science 160 (or an approved substitute) and 308.

Depending upon the field of engineering that a student elects to pursue, the Binary Engineering Student may select additional courses from the following list in order to enhance his/her background and understanding: Chemistry 221, 222, 321, and 322; Physics 301, 329, 330, 361, 372, 480, and 482. Selection of additional courses must be discussed with and approved by the Binary Engineering Faculty Mentor.
